Love Is a Shared Experience
We will better understand the power of love when we recognize that love is an experience of consciousness awakened within the heart. Regrettably, within this virtual reality we have created for ourselves we identify that which is feminine and that which is masculine as qualities of the sexes relating to physical characteristics and sexual behaviors. Throughout this book, I have identified the Atom of God Consciousness as the bonded union between the true masculine and the true feminine. I do so not because they are sexual in nature. The true masculine and the true feminine are powers of consciousness, sexless and without gender. So let’s strive to move beyond mere physical characteristics and behaviors and into a better understanding of the true essence and power of the feminine and the masculine.
The Powerful Essence of the Feminine Unquestionably, men are attracted to the beauty of the female form, particularly when it has been adorned to provide that alluring sensual and sexual appeal. Men gladly feed upon the fruit of the sensual energy offered by women. Nevertheless, it is truly the quality of the feminine when expressed as feeling that really attracts and holds the attention of men. Men desire the essence of feeling emanating from the feminine and intuitively understand that it is in a bonded union with the feminine essence of feeling where they will find a true intimacy and that inner experience of happiness. The Powerful Essence of the Masculine Unquestionably, women are attracted to the strength of the male form, and particularly when it has been enhanced to provide that alluring and sensual sexual appeal. Women gladly feed upon the fruit of the sensual energy offered by men. However, it is the quality of the masculine, when expressed as desire for conscious union with the feminine that attracts and holds the attention of women.
